Supermarine Spitfire Poppy Art. A stunning new piece of aviation art titled "Echoes in Crimson Skies" has been unveiled and lovingly donated to the incredible team at Flying Scholarships for Disabled People (FSDP). This powerful artwork honours the memory of Squadron Leader Mark Long, who tragically lost his life in a Spitfire accident in 2024.
Mark was not only a remarkable pilot but also a passionate advocate for empowering others through flight. In his memory, FSDP is creating a Flying Scholarship that will continue his legacy by helping disabled individuals experience the freedom of flying.

"Echoes in Crimson Skies" captures the spirit, bravery, and passion that Mark brought to every display. It’s more than art—it’s a symbol of inspiration, remembrance, and the skies that still echo with his courage.
You can support the scholarship in Mark’s name via the #JustGiving page here:https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/SpitfireLong
Prints will be available shortly with all profits from the artist sale going to the scholarship.
