Spitfire Work

As the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Public Display Authority (PDA) is this week I was inspired to create this piece titled Supermarine Spitfire Fast Pass, based on a shot of MK356 taken during last years PDA.

It depicts the RAF Spitfire down low over the countryside and hopefully gives a sense of the immense speed this machine was capable of in the 1940's. This years PDA is scheduled to take place at RAF Coningsby on Friday 24th April.
